Jessica started learning piano at the age of 3. Being a Hong-Kong born pianist, she is currently based in London and Hong Kong. She graduated from Master of Music (piano performance) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2022. During her studies at Trinity, she studied with Professor Mikhail Kazakevich. She actively attends lessons and masterclasses around the world and has the privilege of studying with esteemed professors and pianists, including Professor Julian Jacobson, Pascal Rogé, Professor Pablo Galdo and Olga Jegunova.

In the past, she has organised recital in Hong Kong and London.

Highlights of Other Music Qualification:

  • Trinity College London – The Licentiate Diploma in Piano Recital

  • ABRSM – Grade 8 in Piano Recital (Distinction)

  • ABRSM – Grade 8 in Musical Theory

Performance

Jessica actively takes part in recital and performances. She has performed publicly and organised recitals in London and Hong Kong. For highlights of her past recitals, please click here.

Despite her passion in classical repertoire, she enjoy exploring into other styles of music and music creation including improvisation. During Whose Theme is it, Anyway? concert, Jessica and Ella Ingram improvised based on a theme provided by live and online audience. Being provided with one of the most famous paintings The Starry Night by Van Gogh as the theme of improvisation, they spontaneously created music at the concert.

Teaching

  • Solo singer with a particular interest in Musical Theatre, Pop and Disney music; one of the 18 finalists among 250 participants in a public singing contest in Hong Kong

  • Choral & orchestral conducting experience; conducted at annual concert of a Christian choir in Hong Kong
